As long as you or the recipient wears size 50" pants or less you will be able to size this belt to your waist.
You simply cut the excess material from the raw end of the strap that inserts into the buckle.

United StatesI have five straps and four buckles across the two sizes, and I'm in love with the products, but this strap... The issue is the end cut. All of my other straps are tapered on the end opposite the buckle This one is squared off. It gets hung up on belt loops. It gets hung up going through the buckle. It gets hung up on the belt loop past the buckle. So it's irritating in the morning when you put it on and every time during the day that you need to unbuckle and re-buckle. If you don't think you do that very often, buy this strap and you'll become aware of every single instance of it. The squared off end is stitched, so I think that cutting the corners off would eventually lead to the whole belt falling apart, which I also don't want to have happen. It does LOOK great. I get compliments on it. But I don't recommend it.
