I bought the Invincibelt in "Reptile" finish as I was preparing for a 2-week canoe trip in the Boundary Waters. I carry a heavy Leatherman Surge, it necessitates a sturdy belt. The belt worked perfectly, plenty sturdy enough to carry the load, but supple enough to not be uncomfortable while sitting (canoeing involves lots of sitting!) Looks good, works great, it's now a permanent piece of my field gear. -CHUCK-
It will make a nice belt with a suit and tie but it is uncomfortable for everyday wear. I'm 55, 6'1", 230lbs. Yeah, I've have a little gut, nothing crazy, but the buckle is is bulky, the top/bottom edge is not ergonomic. I wore it about 2 hours and had to take it off. Looks nice, but I will probably use it twice a year. In the past, my father and brother both used Anson belts daily. Over a few years the notches on the belt will wear smooth and no longer catch. I think that is a warrantee item so not that big a deal, just expect it to happen.
If this is a gift, we recommend the "Belt Box" packaging. Otherwise, we recommend the Anson travel bags, which are great for traveling and storage.
