As long as you or the recipient wears a size 50" pant or less you will be able to size this belt to your waist.
You simply cut the excess leather from the raw end of the strap that inserts into the buckle.

There is something very satisfying about hearing the click, click, click — and easily adjusting the belt in tiny increments — when necessary throughout the day. Also, when I ordered my last belt, I ******* up the payment information and called in to make a correction. No cheeky operator for me, no. I got the owner of the company himself, David Ferree, who fixed my order. I work directly with the big cheese. So I’ve got that going for me… which is nice.

I changed my mind about the color of the strap I wanted the day before it was to ship. I called the customer support number that day and David Ferree answered the phone. He was very courteous, but couldn't catch the original color I ordered. However he had the new color shipped out that day and just asked me to return the original color ordered. Great service!
