As long as you or the recipient wears a size 50" pant or less you will be able to size this belt to your waist.
You simply cut the excess leather from the raw end of the strap that inserts into the buckle.
This way it fits YOUR exact waist, with no guessing. (see how)

Last year I purchased a "similar" belt at a discount store. It worked so well, that I bought a second. BUT, within two months, both "leather" belts began to fray and peel. Excellent beyond words. I have only worn Anson for the last 12 years. I am a pilot and I even use it as part of my uniform. In fact I only have 1 Anson buckle and 2 straps 1 black and 1 brown, I replaced the black one twice and that is it. That is the only belt for me for 12 years. I do not need anything else and nothing else makes me as happy. Quality, customer care. Anson belts and buckles are one of those scarce things in the world that have nothing to complain about. Nothing!! Lots of admiration for this company.
