The 1.5" Classic in Formal Gunmetal buckle is roughly 1.5" wide and uses Micradjust Technology® for the perfect fit.
With a linear pattern on the face of the buckle and a smoked gunmetal finish, it has a more formal look than our Classic in Gunmetal.
Our 1.5" buckles are only compatible with our 1.5" straps and vice versa. (see how)

When you make the switch over to Anson Belts, removing the belts can definitely take a little bit of getting used to, as it is a two-handed motion that you have to use in order to relieve tension from the strap with one hand, while unlatching the buckle with your other hand. I love this company. I have two belts and two buckles, and they've held up phenomenally over the years. Some of the finish has rubbed off on the corners of one of the buckles; but I've worn it every day for three years, so that is kind of to be expected. Overall, very happy, though.

Purchased two full sets for my college age sons for Christmas and they were a hit! One of their fav gifts and their friends were equally intrigued, so maybe even more than 2 new fans.
