Crocodile belts are shorter length than casual belts

The belt looks very nice in person. I bought it for a golf trip, received it promptly, packed it in my suitcase BUT on my first day of golf when I went to put on the belt - I realized the belt was MUCH shorter than the three other Anson belts I previously bought. My pant size is right at a 42-44. So, the description is correct that it will fit, but no belt looks good when you can barely close it - even these belts. Once I got home I checked the description on the website and see that the last bullet point says “pant size 44”. Further up in the description it says ”50 in length” as opposed to the casual belt fitting “pant size of 50” - HUGE difference between the two. In any event, it’s my fault for not reading things much closer. I made the wrong assumption that all of the belts were the same length since that’s one of Anson’s selling points “...fits your EXACT waist...”. I suppose I need to lose some lbs if I want to wear this expensive belt.
